An Interactive Session on Photography (TP Bhatia College)

This week, I travelled to Bombay as I was given the opportunity by the TP Bhatia College in Bombay to speak to a group of around 45 students who were interested in photography and cinematography. The session had two speakers, a professional cinematographer and I. I was very nervous and scared to speak initially, as I HATE public speaking, it is one of my big fears. So in the beginning, I was terrified. The session began, and I was called up to the stand. In the beginning, I was very scared, but I just began to speak and go through my slides, and as the time passed, I found it easier to discuss with and talk to the group of students at the school. They were very interactive, and although seemed shy at the beginning, began to ask questions about photography, and also my photographic journey these past few years. I specifically remember a girl in the 7th grade, who asked me such complex questions that even I found difficult to answer, and I was in awe that someone around 4 years younger than me who I had never met before could think of these aspects of my work that I had never even considered. I had a great time talking to the students and I hope to continue to communicate with them through social media and email! If you were at the session and are viewing this blog, please feel free to say hi on my contact page or send me an email!
