To Build A Home #2
March 3, 2016Today, Sam and I met at Starbucks in the afternoon to plan out dates, locations, and all the logistics of our project. We also wanted to do a “trial run” of some sorts of the drawing that we would make on a human back. Earlier, I asked a friend, Charl, if he would have been interested in letting us use him as our medium and allowing us to take a few photos of him for this project, and he agreed. We also needed to find the date and location. After discussing, we decided on these aspects, and then Sam began to draw a “rough draft” of the heart on my arm. It took around 30 minutes to finish drawing the heart. Even though it was simply a rough draft, we got a great idea of the do’s and don’t’s of the drawing aspect, and this experience helped us in knowing what to do when the real thing happens. Here’s a photo of the rough draft which Sam drew on my arm, and also a drawing of the heart which she did on paper
